The barriers to buying real estate are usually quite common. Issues include not enough money for a down payment, not able to invest due to debt, credit,  low cash reserves or no cash reserves, or even too young to invest and are just some of the excuses to delaying the access of owning and leveraging real estate.
 

The tried and true historical way to own properties was hard work, saving for a down payment, but that takes time, discipline and vision.  Challenges can include high interest rates, low inventory, record inflation and competition from private equity firms gobbling up supply and increasing rental cost making the process out of reach.
